1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Lumora mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”), provided by Lumora (“Lumora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.

2. Description of Services

Lumora is an AI-powered coaching tool focused on five pillars: Money, Mind, Body, Learn, and Create. The Services include text and voice chat with Lumora AI, photo and document upload and analysis (Premium), profile-based memory, and optional subscriptions for unlimited access and advanced features.

You may browse the pillars and use a limited number of AI conversations without creating an account. An account is required only for features that are tied to an account: saved chat history across devices, your profile, photo and document analysis, and an active subscription.

The Services are for general informational and motivational purposes only.

3. Important Disclaimers — Not Professional Advice

Lumora is not a licensed therapist, doctor, financial advisor, lawyer, or other professional. The Services and all content provided (including AI responses, suggestions, or analyses of uploaded photos and documents):

• Are for informational and inspirational purposes only.
• Are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical, mental health, or financial condition.
• Are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, legal, or tax advice.
• May be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation due to the probabilistic nature of AI.

You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any information or suggestions from Lumora. Always consult qualified professionals for medical, mental health, financial, legal, or tax matters. Never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you received through the Services.

We make no guarantees about results, accuracy, or outcomes.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The plans, prices, and subscription lengths shown on the in-app subscription screen are authoritative. Not all plans are available in every version of the app or in every region, and prices are shown in your local currency by the store processing the purchase.

Managing and cancelling. If you subscribed through the App Store, manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings; Lumora cannot cancel or refund App Store purchases, and refund requests must be made to Apple. If you subscribed on our website, manage or cancel through the Stripe billing portal.

Prices include applicable taxes where required. No refunds for partial periods except as required by law or by the rules of the store that processed your purchase. We may change prices with notice.

5. User Content and Uploads

You own your inputs (messages, uploaded photos and documents). By using the Services, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, and use them to provide the Services (including AI analysis).

Uploaded photos and documents are processed for coaching purposes and deleted after 30 days, or sooner upon request. We do not share them with third parties except as needed for service operation or to meet legal requirements. See the Lumora Privacy Policy for details of the providers involved.

You represent that your content does not violate laws or third-party rights.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the Services for illegal or harmful activities.
• Attempt to jailbreak, reverse engineer, or extract underlying AI models.
• Upload harmful code, spam, or infringing content.
• Misrepresent AI output as human-generated.
• Use the Services to generate regulated professional advice.

We may monitor, remove content, or terminate access for violations.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations or operational reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time; cancel your subscription separately for billing to stop.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Services are provided “AS IS” without warranties.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the prior 12 months or $100 USD.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The arbitrator’s decision is final and binding. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action.

If arbitration is not enforceable, disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be notified in-app or via email.
